The First International Musical and Poetic competition-festival based on the works of Olga Levadnaya will be held at the bank of the Kazanka River

On March 12, 2024, the Konstantin Vasiliev Museum (Kazan, Bauman St., 29/11) will host a Gala concert of the laureates of the 1st International Music and Poetry Competition-Festival based on the works of Olga Levadnaya “On the Fairytale Bank of the Kazanka”.

The festival is held in a hybrid format by the Kazan city organization of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Union of Russian Writers, with the participation of the Kazan State Medical University, the Kazan State Conservatory named after N. G. Zhiganov, and the Kazan State Institute of Culture. The partners of the festival are the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Lucio Abrigo Memorial learning center of the Philippines (Lucio Abrico Memorial learning center. INC), the Mil Mentes Por Mexico Association, and Asia Journalist Association.

Online greetings to the participants are expected from the honorary guests of the competition-festival “On the Fairytale Bank of the Kazanka River”: Ashraf Aboul-Yazid (Egypt) poet, writer, journalist, President of the Asia Journalist Association(AJA), representative of the international platforms of World Media Cooperation, Eva Petropoulou Lianou (Greece) – poet, writer, President of the Mil Mentes Por Mexico Association, official representative of the Stockholm 2033 project about Greece, Nobel Peace Prize nominee -2024, , Queen of Eden Soriano Trinidad poet, writer, translator, editor, teacher, chairman of the board of trustees, director of the Learning Center Lucio Abrigo (Philippines), United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Jeanette Eureka Tiburcio (Mexico), poet, President of the World Academy of Children’s Literature, History and Artistic Culture.

The goals and objectives of the competition-festival are the development of international humanitarian cooperation, strengthening civil unity and interethnic relations through international events, involving the younger generation in the world of art and poetry, developing skills in the expressive performance of poetic, prose and musical works, increasing the level of literacy and speech culture, broadening one’s horizons, developing creative abilities, strengthening friendship among young people of different nationalities and countries, instilling respect for the cultural heritage of Russia and Tatarstan.

At the Gala concert of the competition-festival, poems, prose and romances will be performed in Russian, Tatar, English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi languages performed by winners from different regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries (Kazan, DPR, Republic of Crimea, Philippines, Mexico, Egypt, Greece), as well as participants of the theater studio “Philoxenia” and artists of the Kazan poetic theater “Dialogue”.

The competition-festival will become part of the global project “Festival of Russian Culture” on the world’s largest cultural platforms. It will start at 4 PM, March 12, 2024, at Konstantin Vasiliev Museum, Kazan, St. Bauman, 29/11, with information support by literary magazine “Argamak. Tatarstan”, newspaper “Kazanskie Vedomosti” and the AsiaN, Asia Journalist Association (AJA).
