Anti-Hepatitis Drive launched in Thar Coal Villages

In 2017 also, more than 5000 people were screened and vaccinated against Hepatitis B & C.

Thar Foundation has started a project to make Block-2 free of Hepatitis B & C. Under the project screening and vaccination of more than 6000 people will be carried out in different villages of Block-2 in collaboration with The Health Foundation.

In 2017 also, more than 5000 people were screened and vaccinated against Hepatitis B&C.

Thar-Coal-Hepatitis-Drive-Sindh-Courier-1Inauguration ceremony of the project was held on Tuesday, which was attended by notables of different villages, medical staff and Thar Foundation team. General Manager Thar Foundation Naseer Memon, Project Manager Naval Vaswani, representative of Health Foundation Mr. Asim, Thar Foundation’s Marvi Clinic Dr. Mitharam and others spoke on the occasion.

Thar Foundation is implementing its program with the support of Government of Sindh under the umbrella of SECMC. The program aims to positively impact lives of communities in Block-2 and adjoining areas under SDGs Framework. (PR)
