BEING DIFFERENT
When you are different, you are alone,
Your earth is without maps,
Your mind is your permanent home,
If you toe the line,
And blur the boundaries,
You are compelled to be a passive pawn,
However, it’s pointless to pursue people;
To accept you as different,
Your struggle sneak out of your eyes,
And roll down your cheeks in tears often,
People turn from meek to merciless,
The words are not your defense,
Words do weep,
You are treated as an unhinged criminal,
But it’s better to be different,
Stand and suffer;
Then to be same in a club of millions,
Be like a tiger who never changes his stripes,
Ultimately it’s you, with yourself, different.
