Dacoits were involved in heinous crimes including killing of a DSP and SHOs – says SSP Ghotki

The Ghotki police have claimed having shot dead four most wanted criminals involved in the Killings of DSP and two SHOs in an encounter.
SSP Ghotki Tanveer Hussain Tunio said on Saturday that Khambhra Police of Ghotki had hard pursued a gang of criminals near Obauro when they attempted to loot people.
He said that dacoits resorted to firing at police party which also engaged in a firing to dacoits for three hours in which four dacoits were killed.
He said that three dead bodies of the dacoits were shifted to Taluka hospital Obauro, while other dacoits, taking body of fourth dacoit escaped from scene, who are being pursued.
He said that killed dacoits have been identified as Badlo S/o Bhooro Koash resident of village Deen Muhammad of Kashmor, Phaloo S/o Saleh Muhammad resident of Machhka, Chak Naseerabad, Tehsil Sadiqabad and Khan Muhammad S/o Khando Seelro resident of Machhka, Fatehpur of Tehsil Sadiqabad.
He said that Police recovered one Kalashnikov, 02 pistols and 01 snatched motorcycle.
He said that fourth killed dacoit was identified as Arab s/o Guloo Shar (Hyderani) whose dead body was taken away by the dacoits towards Katcha (Riverine) area of Ravaanti.
He said that Arab Shar was wanted in the killing of 5 policemen including DSP Abdul Malik Bhutto, SHO Deen Muhammad Laghari, SHO Abdul Malik Kananger and two constables on November 2022.
SSP Tanveer Hussain Tunio said that killed dacoits were wanted in multiple cases of murder, highway robberies, kidnapping for ransom and other heinous cases.
SSP said that Police was pursuing to the escaping away dacoits and in this regard search was underway in the Katcha areas of Obauro.
Meanwhile IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Sukkur Javed Sonharo Jiskani applauded the Ghotki Police for killing of four dacoits and announced appreciation certificates and cash.
