A pistol and bullets were recovered from bandit identified as Mansoor Solangi of Kashmore; his two accomplices escaped

An alleged criminal was killed in police encounter in the limits of A-Section Police Station however his two accomplices managed to escape. A pistol and bullets were recovered from the killed bandit.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghotki District of Sindh Tanveer Hussain Tunio said on Monday that a gang of dacoits had opened fires at Police Party patrolling at a road near A-Section police Station. The police also retaliated and in the exchange of firing, a bandit was killed.
He said that police were chasing the escaped criminals, and added that the killed dacoit was identified as Mansoor Ali Solangi S/o Wasoo Solangi, resident of Kashmore.
He said that killed dacoit was wanted in the killing of Police ASI Amanullah Abro and other cases of road robberies.
Meanwhile DIG Sukkur Javed Sonharo Jiskani said that targeted Operation against the criminals in Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur districts was in progress and added that targeted operation is result oriented.
He said that SSP Ghotki Tanveer Hussain Tunio, SSP Khairpur Mir Rohal Khan Khoso and SSP Sukkur Sanghaar Malik are doing good Job in eliminating the criminals.
He said that President Dr. Arif Alvi, on March 23rd, presented gallantry award to SSP Ghotki Tunveer Hussain Tunio for maintaining peace in his jurisdiction and getting rid of notorious outlaws and dacoits.
