A Poem A Day For Indus River

Nobody can barricade your flow.

It tastes like the mother’s milk.

Civilizations thrive and grow.

(Tribute to the River Indus)

The evidence of Indus civilization.

The one that endures for eternity,

You are an emblem of liberation.

That prevails miles of fraternity.

Your roar is a warrior’s tale,

Your bank is the traveler’s trail.

That historians traverse and sail,

The flow contains a strong gale.

The elixir of life is your water.

The cradle of primitive culture

You are rocking it like a foster.

By molding the entire structure.

Nobody can barricade your flow.

It tastes like the mother’s milk.

Civilizations thrive and grow.

Among the beautiful green silk.
