BJP’s mayoral candidate Pramila Pandey, known as ‘Revolver Dadi’, rushed to Sindhi Colony and apologized to the Sindhi community

The cases like irregularities in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), bogus voting and giving inducements were reported during the voting process in Kanpur in the second phase of Uttar Pradesh municipal elections on Thursday May 11, 2023.
At the same time, there was a scuffle between the two parties in Ward No. 69 of Sindhi Colony. It was told that there had been a dispute regarding voting. Police force had reached the spot. Ghanshyamdas Chhabra, president of the Old Sakkhar Panchayat Housing Society of the area, told that his son Ashish and some friends were standing outside Ram Khilwani’s house.
Meanwhile, some youths of BJP came asking about Amit Khatri. Ashish and Amit are friends. Due to this the youths started beating Ashish and his friends. Hearing the commotion, a crowd of people started arriving. Due to this, the youth ran away seeing the opportunity.
Pramila Pandey apologizes
After the controversy, BJP’s mayoral candidate Pramila Pandey reached Sindhi Colony and apologized to the Sindhi community. She said, “I apologize by touching the feet. Vote now, I will teach these people a lesson that they will remember.” Pramila Pandey cried while apologizing. She is known as ‘Revolver Dadi’.
Officers influencing elections
While giving information about the clash to the police, people said that there was a voter fraud. At the same time, BJP workers alleged that the Pathasin officer is a local resident. He himself is influencing the election. A complaint has also been made to the police in the matter.
