Algerian writer Turkia Loucif crowns her novel “The Legend of a Squirrel” on the world stage

Algerian writer Turkia Loucif announced a new milestone by presenting her fictional short novel “The Legend of a Squirrel” in an English version, as part of her first collaboration with Egyptian translator Ahmed Farouk Beydoun.
It should be noted that this novel was the bestseller in exhibitions held in Algeria with the Golden House of Jerusalem, when it was released in Algeria in 2016.
“The Legend of a Squirrel” deals with fictional events set in the Algerian Tassili Mountains, where a castle is ruled by a king who disputes power with demons, leading to endless wars until the appearance of the squirrel who shares the appearance by force with a weak squirrel who draws strength from several tools developed by the author to liberate the castle.
The author offers a philosophical and analytical view of the disadvantages of monarchies, emphasizing the depth of thought and vision that the author offers in her literary works.
This achievement is an important step for the writer Turki Loucif in her literary career, as she enters the world stage with her fictional short novel “The Legend of a Squirrel”, reinforcing her position as a distinguished Algerian writer.
