The love pair often prayed
To Gods
Make us together
We can’t live divided.
Gods put each of them
On a new machine
Be told dear friends.
They too have a R&D wing
The new machine measures
How much a man
Remembers the other
And how much one forgets whom.
Gods checked the remembrance
Data of the two lovers
Gods called them
For a hearing.
You have never forgotten each other
For years and for years
You are getting along, well
Carry on. What more you want?
We want marriage?
Gods were shocked
You are more than married already
Marriage will mean breakup
How?
Gods said, now you are
Spirituality blessed
Then it will be a worldly affair.
Now run away
Don’t invoke us any further
You are already in bliss.
Why are you demanding hell?
