Prof Egara Kabaji has been named by the Kenya Publishers Association as one of the “notable 25 Kenyan authors

The Vice President (East Africa) for the Ghana-based Pan African Writers Association (PAWA), Prof Egara Kabaji has been named by the Kenya Publishers Association as one of the “notable 25 Kenyan authors” from the last two and a half decades.
The Kenya Publishers Association (KPA), which was founded in 1972 made the announcement on Sunday September 22 2024.
Also on the list of the notable authors are the renowned icon of African Literature, Prof Ngugi wa Thiong’o, Rebecca Nandwa as well as the late Binyavanga Wainaina, among others.
Egara Kabaji who is a Professor of Literary Communication at Masinde Muliro University in Kenya is the author of 30 books some of which are on the reading list of East African schools.
His novel, THE MAKING OF A FILM STAR is one of the titles on the UN SDG Book Club Africa Chapter’s list of books promoting the SDG 8.
