More than 30 Chinese universities will showcase their capabilities at the education exhibition
At the education exhibition in Dushanbe, opportunities for cooperation between Tajikistan and China in the field of education will be presented, Asia-Plus reports, citing the Chinese Embassy.
More than 30 Chinese universities will showcase their capabilities. Discussions will revolve around the development of cooperation and the exchange of experience between universities from both countries.
There are also plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation and award the best foreign students who have graduated from 12 universities in the Chinese province of Shaanxi.
“Since the beginning of this year, the number of Chinese visas issued to Tajik citizens has reached its highest level since the start of the pandemic, especially in recent months. The number of educational visas issued has increased by 20% compared to the highest level for the same period in history,” emphasized the source.
The embassy also reported significant simplifications in visa and personnel exchange procedures. In particular, phased measures have been introduced since August of this year, exempting some categories of people from fingerprinting. COVID-19 tests are also no longer required for those traveling to China.
