Several illegal structures demolished using heavy machinery
Hyderabad: Several illegal structure were demolished using heavy machinery on Thursday during ongoing first phase of anti-encroachment drive launched in entire Hyderabad district on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Mr. Fuad Ghaffar Soomro to ensure implementation of the orders of the apex court.
The anti-encroachment operation in urban areas was carried out in talukas Latifabad and Qasimabad where the marriage halls, schools and other private institutions had occupied roads and other places.
In Latifabad, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Ishtiaq Ali Mangi and Assistant Commissioner (UT) Mehvish Aijaz Buriro.
During the operation, talking to the media men AC Latifabad said that they are striving to ensure complete implementation on the orders of the apex court without any pressure and discrimination. He brushed aside the impression of discrimination in the operation against encroachment. “The operation has been carried out without any discrimination since last several days”, he added.
AC UT Amber and Assistant Muktirkar Asad ullah Junejo were also present at the occasion.

Besides, the anti-encouragement drive was carried out in taluka Qasimabad under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Gada Hussain Soomro. The operation against encroachment drive was also carried out to get occupied land of Irrigation Department vacated. Mukhtiarkar Qasimabad Altaf Hussain Korejo and Assistant Mukhtiarkar Majid Hussain Khaskheli also took part in the operation. (PR)
