Digital Learning Program for Out-of-School Children launched in Sindh

Program aims to bring 10,000 out-of-school children into formal schools

Sindh Education Foundation and Teach the World Foundation signed a contract on Friday for launching digital learning program aimed at reaching out-of-school children across the province.

The contract ceremony was held in the presence of Interim Chief Minister Sindh Justice ® Baqar Maqbool at the CM House.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Rana Hussain, Minister Education and Literacy Department, Ms. Shireen Mustafa Secretary, SE&LD, Ms. Sadaf Anees Secretary College Education Department, Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi, Secretary Finance Department, Board Members of SEF including Dr. Kaiser Bengali, Dr. Qazi Masood, Abdul Kabir Kazi Managing Director along with SEF team and team of Teach the World Foundation led by Shafique Khan.

The initiative centers around accelerated digital learning program aimed at reaching out-of-school children across the region. This collaborative effort marks a significant stride towards providing quality education to every child in Sindh, showcasing the power of partnerships in fostering accessible and inclusive learning environments. Through this intervention, it aimed to bring 10,000 out-of-school children into formal schools and improve the learning gains of 2500 students in SEF in the next 36 months by the way of 100 micro-schools and 25 in-school intervention with an all-inclusive cost of Rs.710 million.
