Commissioner Hyderabad issues directives to all the Deputy Commissioners of his Division to collect the details of properties

In a meeting Chairman Evacuee Property Trust Board asks for identifying the properties

Hyderabad: The Federal Government’s Evacuee Properties Trust Board (EPTB) has sought details of Evacuee Properties located in Sindh. In this regard, the Chairman of the Board Aamer Ahmed held meeting with Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Abbas Baloch on Wednesday.

Commissioner Abbas Baloch told the EPTB chief that the directions have been issued to the respective districts administration to collect the details of the properties.

Board chairman advised that the properties of the trust be identified and should not be handed over to anyone.

Commissioner said that the Deputy Commissioners of respective districts have been directed for the coordination with the Trust Board.

Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Fuad Ghaffar briefed the meeting regarding the EPTB properties in the Hyderabad District.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman EPTB Dr. Aamer Ahmed, Director Administration Rasheed Ahmed Tunio and other officials of the Trust Board.

Separately, Divisional Commissioner also chaired a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Committee – II Hyderabad held in his office, attended by the Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Hyderabad Imdad Ali Shah and other concerned officials.

Deputy Director of Anti-corruption presented around 72 cases of different departments including Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), Health, Education, and Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) in the committee for further decisions by the Chair.

Some 27 cases were finalized and ordered for further inquiry. Commissioner, who is the chairman of the committee, directed the anti-encroachment officers and officials to conduct proper investigation observing all the codal formalities and proper documentation based on evidences as further decision could be made timely.

He issued instructions to relevant authorities for further inquiry on various cases.   Director Education Rasool Bakhsh Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hyderabad, Tazarez Sadique Mari, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Matiari Farooq Ahmad Leghari, Deputy Controller SPSC Shaukat Ali Ujjan, Deputy Director General Health, Deputy Director Building Control Authority and officials of various departments attended the meeting and shared the information of their respective cases.

Commissioner also held a meeting with office bearers of the Aga Khan community of Hyderabad Division. The office bearers of the community informed that better and quality services have been provided by Aga Khan Board, in education and health sectors in various Districts of the Division. Commissioner Hyderabad advised them to set up a modern hospital in Hyderabad on behalf of the foundation so that the residents of the area can be benefited accordingly.
