The Maharaj community people of Mithi always do fasting on 21, 23 and 27th of Ramadan.

For the first time in the history, an Iftar (breaking of fast) party was arranged by some youth of Hindu community for Muslim brothers at Shiv temple in Islamkot town.

Tharparkar, the desert district of Sindh province of Pakistan, known for interfaith harmony among Hindu and Muslim communities, has set another unique example of coherence, as Mr. Sushil Malani, hailing from a local political family, has observed fasting the whole Holy month of Ramadan.

This is not the first time that he observed fasting, as every year he used to do fasting for a few days, but this time he didn’t miss even a single day of Ramadan.

Sushil Malani, who is nephew of PPP MNA Dr. Mahesh Malani and son of ex-MPA Jagdish Malani, said that besides religious importance, fasting has great logic with regard to human health.

And the world must know that other youths from Hindu community also used to observe fasting every year on some particular dated of Ramadan. The Maharaj community people of Mithi always do fasting on 21, 23 and 27th of Ramadan.

And for the first time in the history, an Iftar (breaking of fast) party was arranged by some youth of Hindu community for Muslim brothers at Shive temple in Islamkot town. Moreover, Iftar parties were arranged by some other Hindu youths at different places.
