International conference discusses ‘Challenges of Business Growth in a Disruptive Economy’
3rd International Conference on Emerging Business & Economic Trends was organized by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University

A number of national and international speakers presented their papers on related issues and participated in panel discussions

The 3rd International Conference on Emerging Business & Economic Trends (ICEBET 2023) organized by Department of Business Administration, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University was held here on Wednesday.
The conference was aimed to provide a platform for scholars and experts to share their research findings and discuss emerging business and economic trends in a disruptive economy.
The inaugural speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani, the Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, who welcomed the participants.
He said that this conference is a valuable opportunity for us to collaborate, learn from each other, and explore new ideas and innovations. He hoped that the keynote speeches, panel discussions and paper presentations in different parallel sessions of the conference will shed new light on the issue of Business Challenges in a Disruptive Economy.
Dr. Helena Nobre, Professor of Management at University of Averio, Portugal; Prof. Dr. Abu Bakar Abdul Hamid, Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur Malaysia; Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Allah Bux University of Arts & Design; Prof. Dr. Dileep Kumar, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Nile University of Nigeria; Dr. Carla Del Gesso, Professor Accounting and Public Administration at University of Molise, Italy; Prof. Dr. Raza Ali Khan, HoD at NED University Karachi; Dr. Aijaz A. Shaikh from School of Business and Economics, University of Jyvaskyla Finland; Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ali Mirani, HoD Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University; Prof. Dr. Virginia Bodolica, The Said T. Khoury Chair of Leadership Studies, American University of Shajah, UEA and Misha Isran, Climate and Sustainability Analyst, IKEA Sweden presented their papers on various topics around the conference theme.
The Panel Discussion session on the theme “Challenges of Business Growth in a Disruptive Economy” moderated by Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Bhutto, Professor of Economics at Sukkur IBA University, also shed light on the emerging issues of disruptive economy.
At the end, Conference Chair, Prof. Dr. Salman Bashir, Dean Faculty of Management and Business Administration offered vote of thanks.
He said that the publication of conference abstract book will share the latest findings, theories, and discoveries with the wider academic community. By publishing high-quality research, the conference proceedings will contribute to the advancement of respective fields and make a positive impact on society.
The conference was attended by Deans, HoDs, Faculty Members, Administrative Staff, and national and international guests.
