KNOT
Sixty years of knowledge,
Scriptures and wisdom,
Saging and seering
Discussing and debating
All together
Fail to untie the knot
That hit this island
And was taken back
Unsolved, unresolved
Live still like a charged bombshell
Ready to explode
Again on this earth
Challenging the cosmos.
Gods never sat with him
To tell him
Who he was.
From where he came,
Why he came
And where shall be go
What was their interest
In keeping him confused?
So that he remained in a state
If absolute uncertainty.
Here is the result of their apathy.
Man remains a mystery.

WHEN WORDS HIT THE STREETS
When words lose meaning
They are a heap of refuge
Or objects
In a junkyard
Which have lost their values.
When words lose their property
And turn paupers
They move about
Beggar-like in the streets (poems)
Asking for alms (appreciation).
Words are needed
When silence fails to convince
And too many words means
Too little is their payload
Only shells, no bullets
The problem with man is
He does not know
When the most loved words
Which endear us to others
Suddenly lose their attractivity.
Words!
Fear those times
When in a quirk of fate,
Things are reversed
And losing their princely status
Hit the streets begging alms.
