Larkana: Issue of Snatching, Robbery and Missing Persons

The incidents of snatching and robbery have caused the trouble to the peaceful and innocent citizens of the Larkana city
It is matter of great concern that the incidents of snatching and robbery have caused the trouble for the peaceful and innocent citizens of the Larkana city. The most corrupt Station House Officers (SHOs) have been posted at the different police station and the SSP Larkana is in the deep slumber and has failed to curb the crime in the Larkana, the divisional headquarter city of Sindh.
It is also on the record that the SSP Larkana has brought those SHOs in the Larkana city from Khairpur, where previously they were posted during the posting of SSP Larkana.
The Larkana city is also facing the issue of missing persons. It has been alleged that the SHOs of the different police stations are involved in the dirty practice of disappearing the persons. The SHOs are not producing those missing persons before the concerned magistrate which is required under section 61 of Criminal Procedure Code 1898 and the article 10 of the constitution of the Pakistan, 1973.

It appears that neither the SSP nor the SHOs are aware of the fundamental rights of the citizens of the Pakistan enshrined in the constitution. The SSP Larkana is ‘conferring’ the main police stations of the Larkana city to the most corrupt SHOs who are allegedly involved in the snatching, robbery and missing persons.
The ratio of lodging false FIRs is also increasing day by day as the corrupt SHOs are lodging FIRs after taking the huge money from the interested person and peaceful citizens are dragged in the prolong trial before the court of law.
I hereby request the interior ministry of Sindh that the appropriate action should be taken against the SSP Larkana and the corrupt SHOs to ease the situation and provide relief to the citizens of Larkana.
