POOR NIGHT
Tonight
All the stars have faded away
I need to see more the sun
In the morning
There is time
There is no water seller
The stars and the moon
Barefoot
The pole star
First of all
There is one’s fault
With a love face
And faith
Open the cage
For the wispy
Purple goldfinch,
Let it fly flapping its wings
On a pleasant evening
The cage has been a steel armor
Beyond time.
***
IN THE EVENING WIND
I looked for you in the evening wind
I looked for you in the sound of the violin
Everyone has a spouse or a lover
I am not one of them.
Now the waltz has begun
All the lovers have mated
It’s only me I haven’t
My heart looked for you in each of them.
As dawn turns into evening
Into despair
Waves dream
In your body
When legends get old.
Imaginary worlds are created
The darkness fear
Reads your heart.
If he sends a smile
Behinds the curtains
And you start
Speaking by yourself
The words are imaginary
They turn off your brain.
***
BUGGY EYES
The moon shines at night
A tomorrow
Misty eyes like his gaze
Yellow staining
Got him drunk
Tastes like a lousy wine
The lily blue of the night
Is gone
The moon is pale to him
Just like the color of tobacco.
***
FAR AWAY
Time has stopped
Everything turned upside down
Roses opened on the horizon
Far away from me
Half of my life was spent close to steep cliffs
Like dead end roads.
***
BEAUTY
I took the full jug from your hand
I took a sip and drank your beauty
I looked into your gazelle eyes and I saw
Your beauty in wheat skin.
***
EMBER
Your eyes became the ember that burned inside me
Your glance flowed from your eyes to me
I carry your fire inside myself
Your eyes looked like they were speaking to me.
***
THE COLOR OF ASH
Interspersed with the blue sky
The ashen clouds
Keep turning
Around the sun
In the pale dawns
Remnants of angry lights
Like the moon.
