Congress of African Journalists (CAJ) leaders express their sincere condolences to family and colleagues of Michael Sikapundwa praying for his soul to rest in peace

Michael Sikapundwa, a Tanzanian journalist and a leader of Congress of African Journalists (CAJ), who recently returned from China, where he went for studies, has died in an accident in Morogoro, while he was driving alone in the car.
The body of the journalist is at Morogoro Regional Refferal Hospital. Morogoro is a city located in the eastern part of Tanzania, approximately 196 kilometers west of Dar es Salaam. It serves as the capital of the Morogoro Region.
Michael Sikapundwa worked with The Guardian (T) newspaper in Tanzania. He was CAJ Vice President, East Africa Region.
“Our hearts are saddened by the loss, of our fellow member and CAJ leader, Michael Sikapundwa, the Tanzanian journalist,” Congress of African Journalists said in a condolence message issued from Abuja, Nigeria on Sunday September 22, 2024.
Congress of African Journalists (CAJ) leaders expressed their sincere condolences to his family and colleagues, praying for his soul to rest in peace.
Sindh Courier, an online current affairs service, based in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province of Pakistan, also mourned the sad demise of Tanzanian journalist Michael Sikapundwa in a road accident.
