Out of 127 teachers, 70 are females in 27 schools of Thar Foundation
Islamkot, Tharparkar: Utilizing the school closure time meaningfully, the education department of Thar Foundation has started English and Computer literacy courses for its female teachers.
“It is a matter of proud to share that out of 127 teachers, 70 are females in 27 schools of Thar Foundation where more than 3600 students are getting quality education. These students include more than 1200 girls,” a Thar Foundation press release said on Wednesday.
Thar Foundation has recruited all teachers from local area and is continuously investing in building their capacity, it said.
“Female teachers are our priority that has resulted in 33% girls’ participation in our schools. These schools are islands of social transformation of the local communities,” Thar Foundation said. (PR)
