Turkish companies invited to invest in Sindh

The purpose of the Turkish businessmen’s visit is to promote trade relations between the two countries.

Provincial Minister for Industries and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that there are vast investment opportunities for Turkish investors in Pakistan, especially in Sindh, and there is a need to promote trade relations between the two countries.

He said this while addressing a delegation of the business community from Turkey at a local hotel on Wednesday. Turkish Consul General Cemal Sangu also addressed the ceremony. Secretary of Industries and Commerce Rashid Ahmed Solangi and a large number of businessmen from Turkey and Pakistan also participated in the event.

Turkish-Business-Delegation-Sindh-CourierMinister for Industries Ikramullah Dharejo further said that an agreement had been signed in August 2022 to promote trade between the two countries. “Pakistan and Turkey had good trade relations in many fields.”

He said that the trade volume between the two countries has reached ten billion dollars in the last decade which is a welcome thing.

Jam Ikramullah Dharejo invited Turkish investors to invest in Pakistan, especially in Sindh and hoped that Turkish investors will consider his offer. He thanked the Turkish government and people for helping the flood victims of Sindh and said that there is excellent brotherly relationship between the two Islamic countries.

The businessmen belonging to 30 big companies of Turkey are on a visit to Sindh. The purpose of the visit is to promote trade relations between the two countries. (PR)
