Micro-Grants: Application Date Extended

PAIDAR Program, NRSP District Sujawal extends the closing date for grants extended from till January 20

A delegation from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Pakistan comprised of Mr. Badar-ul-Islam, Head of Program, along with Mr. Qasar Wasique Ahmad, National Operations Officer (UNIDO) visited the NRSP–PAIDAR program in district Sujawal.
A detailed meeting was conducted with the NRSP-PAIDAR and UNIDO Sujawal teams, during which discussions were held on the shortlisting of applications, appraisal procedures, background checks, the process of signing agreements with grantees, payment procedures, procurement of materials, and the verification of materials and grant payments.
PAIDAR is funded by the European Union and is being implemented by UNIDO in five districts including NRSP through different implementing partners like NRSP in Sujawal.
The team also discussed the new mobilization strategy for the 3rd Call, ongoing till January 20, 2026, link to the application here: https://nrsp.org.pk/paidar/. The announcement will be circulated through various WhatsApp groups, local news groups, the NRSP website, and the NRSP Facebook page. In addition, pamphlets, leaflets and handbills will be published and distributed in business hubs and centers across the towns of the target district.
Besides this, boot camps will also be conducted at the Taluka level with potential beneficiaries, which UNIDO will also support. In this regard, Mr. Badar-ul-Islam suggested to extend the closing date from 10th January to 20th January 2026.
Subsequently, the UNIDO delegation met with five micro-grantees namely; 1. Artisanal Tea Processing & Packaging Unit (Agency), 2. Motorcycle Service & Repair Centre, 3. Lathe Machine Workshop, 4. Home-Based Artisan Crafts and Boutique, 5. Home-Based Artisan Crafts (Artisan Group)
Mr. Badar-ul-Islam held detailed discussions with the grantees regarding their business plans, budgets, the procedure for addendums in case they wish to purchase items not included in their original budgets, income generation, and employment creation. (Press Release)
