Chief Minister also distributed awards and shields among the poets, writers and others

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday inaugurated 202nd 3-day annual Urs celebrations of the Mystic Poet Hazrat Sachal Sarmast at Daraz Sharif in Khairpur district.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while talking to media after laying floral wreath at the shrine of Sachal Sarmast said that Sindh was a land of mystics, peace and lovers.
He said that the shrine of Sachal Sarmast has been affected due to heavy rains. “I have ordered its rehabilitation and a team of technical experts will come soon. Sindh government is trying to keep the shrine in the same condition,” he said.
He said that the people of the province were worried due to the rains and floods. “We are giving 5000 thousand rupees per acre to the farmers for the loss of crops due to rain.”
In order to provide relief to the people in Ramadan, the Sindh government has set up Bachat bazaars, he added.
Murad Shah said that 7.8 million families were the beneficiary of Benazir Income Support Program who are being provided Rs.2000 each however he said that 80 percent families received such grant.
About the elections, Murad Ali Shah said that it is the authority of the Election Commission to hold elections.
Shah said that the Sindh government was financing for law and order in the province and the operation against the criminals in Kashmore-Kandhkot, Ghotki is going on.
He said that military grade weapons were also being provided to Sindh Police.
About the ongoing issue of suo moto case, he said, “We had demanded the full court, but three Judges of the Supreme Court gave election schedule which was also not accepted even to the Judges of the same court so how the common people would accept the decision.”
He said that Peoples Party is not escaping from election but holding the elections is the mandate of the election commission.
He said that ZA Bhutto had laid foundation stone of the Supreme Court, but the family of the founder of Supreme Court still waits Justice.
Provincial Minister Pir Syed Ahmad Raza Shah and custodian of shrine Abdul Haq Farooqui, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Nawab Ali Wasan, MNA Dr. Nafisa Shah, Advisor Pir Syed Bachal Shah, Member of Sindh Assembly Naeem Ahmed Kharal, Secretary of Auqaf Munwar Ali Mahesar, Commissioner of Sukkur Division Ghulam Mustafa Phul, Chairman Sachal Memorial Committee Deputy Commissioner Khairpur Dr. Sharjeel Noor Chana, DIG Sukkur Javed Sonharo Jiskani, SSP Khairpur Mir Rohal Khan Khoso and others were also present.
The opening ceremony of Urs and award ceremony was also held at Mahfil Sama Hall Darza Sharif, in which Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah distributed awards and shields for best performance in various fields.
Similarly, special shields were also given to officials, journalists, poets, writers and workers related to different fields.
Earlier custodian of shrine Abdul Haq Farooqui and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sharjeel Noor Channa, and Sachal Memorial Committee presented a special shield to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
