Shah Latif University shows solidarity with Pakistan Army

Faculty, staff and students, led by Vice Chancellor, takeout rally at the campus

Participants of rally condemned the violent incidents of May 9 and chanted pro-army slogans

To show solidarity with Pak Army, a rally was taken out by the Young Peace Development Corp (YPDC) led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur on Saturday.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and organizer of the rally paid rich tribute and homage to armed forces.

They said 9th may carnage was highly condemnable and deplorable because miscreants were involved in desecration of the monuments and memorials of martyrs, Jinnah House, Peshawar Radio Station were attacked, and even national heritage were set on fire.

They said, the sensitive military installations were also attacked. These acts were subversion.

Prof. Dr Sajad Ahmed Raeesi, Director Institute of Islamic Studies shed light on the contribution of Pak Army.

Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, In-charge Students Societies, Prof. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Advisor to Vice Chancellor on Academics, Prof. Dr. Liaquat Ali Chandio, Dr. Inayatullah Bhatti, Mushtaq Ali Khaskhali, larger number of students and staff participated in the rally. The participants chanted slogans in the support of Pakistan and Pak Army.
