According to Chief Minister’s Media Consultant, the revised policy envisages that in case the deceased employee’s child is minor or under-age, the heirs shall be required to inform the concerned department within two years of the demise of employee. “Soon as the child attains the age of 18 years, they shall be required to submit the application for deceased quota job within three months,” says the decision posted on CM Media Consultant WhatsApp group.

In case the deceased employee is unmarried, his brother or sister shall be eligible to apply for recruitment under the deceased quota system, it further stated.

He also constituted a committee consisting of cabinet members Imtiaz Shaikh, Jam Khan Shoro and Murtaza Wahab to suggest a package for providing immediate financial assistance to the heirs of deceased employee.
