The District Literary, Poetry, and Music Committee of Rotary International District 3271 organized the ‘Kul Sindh Sindhi Urdu Mushairah (All Sindh Sindhi Urdu Poetry recitation session) in Khairpur on Saturday night.
The Mushairah was presided over by the renowned poet Ayaz Gul. The current District Governor of Rotary International District 3271, Syed Taazeeb ul Hasan Kazmi, former District Governor Rao Muhammad Saleem, and District Governor Elect Designated Shakeel Qaimkhani, Qurban Mangi, Chairman of the District Literature, Poetry, and Music Committee, and Co-Chairperson Ms. Shazia Alam attended the program.
Noor Rizvi, Akhtar Dargahi, Jawad Jafari, Najma Noor, Anees-ur-Rehman, Manzoor Khamosh Lashari, Shazia Alam Shazi, Sajjad Mirani, Ali Hasan Sarki, Sajid Jamali, Didar Masoom, Nisha Kanwal, Khawaja Zulfikar, Mir Subdar Saeed, Asif Baloch, Inayat Allah, Ali Musafir, Parvez Mahar, Raheel Bardi, Shajahan Chachar, and others received applause for their captivating poetry recitals.
Speaking on this occasion, Syed Tahzeeb ul Hasan Kazmi said that organizing the All Sindh Sindhi Urdu Mushaira is a commendable activity. “Rotary International encourages such activities with a positive outlook.”
Poet Ayaz Gul said in his presidential address that Sindhi-Urdu Mushaira organized by Rotary International is an important step to promote poetry. “We are delighted to hear the poetry of young poets, who are writing with creativity,” he said.
At the end of the Mushaira, Ayaz Gul recited his beautiful poems and made the event colorful by singing his poetry with lyrics.
Chairman of the District Literature, Poetry, and Music Committee Qurban Mangi welcomed all the guests who participated in the Mushaira and expressed gratitude to Rotary Club Khairpur, Rotary Club Sukkur, Rotary Club Karachi Star, and Gymkhana Club.
