The group of children visits Institute of Sindhology, Sindh University Library, Kotri Barrage and Rani Bagh
Hyderabad: Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) organized a study trip of differently abled children of Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Center Thatta on Wednesday.
They visited the Institute of Sindhology and Library, University of Sindh. Piaro Khan, Deputy Director, Directorate of Curriculum, Assessment & Research (DCAR), Jamshoro welcomed and distributed fruits among the students.
Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Divisional Commissioner, Hyderabad also arranged refreshments and gifts for the differently abled children and staff at Rani Bagh. Gada Soomro, Assistant Commissioner, Qasimabad welcomed them on behalf of the Commissioner.
Differently abled children and staff of the Center also visited Boulevard Mall Hyderabad and enjoyed local foods there. In the end, they visited Kotri Barrage and Indus River.
Special Assistant to CM Sindh on DEPD Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has directed the heads of the Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers to keep arranging excursion trips for differently abled children in order to develop confidence among them. (PR)
