Sindh University’s final year students present their research project

Four final year students of Department Of Political Science, University of Sindh presented on Monday their research project “China Pakistan Economic Corridor: Discovering Pakistan’s Economic, Geo-Strategic and Political Position in South Asia’.
Research scholars, Ms. Tooba Sahito, Mr. Zahid Hussain, Mr. Nabeel Ahmed and Mr. Zeeshan Rehman concluded their presentation that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has played a pivotal role in developing the infrastructure in Pakistan.
“With projects, ranging from highways and energy infrastructure to the development of Gwadar port, the CPEC has strengthened the strategic partnership between China and Pakistan, fostering economic ties and collaboration in various sectors, including trade, technology, and defense,” they said.
“The corridor has the potential to stimulate economic growth in Pakistan by attracting foreign investment, creating job opportunities, and boosting various sectors such as manufacturing & agriculture etc.” they said.
Their research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ghulam Akbar Mahesar. (PR)
