Company representatives hold meeting with Minister for Mines and Mineral Development and CM’s Special Assistant on Investment; company will submit detailed plan in November.

A private sector company of United Arab Emirate (UAE) has proposed an investment plan for extraction of Iron Ore from Tharparkar district and Jhimpir area of Thatta district of Sindh.
The UAE Company also plans refining and palletizing of the extracted Iron Ore.
Sindh Minister for Mines and Mineral Development Department Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani and Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Investment Department and Public Private Partnership Projects Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, jointly presided over an important meeting regarding proposed investment plan of UAE based Company ‘ Gold Option’ for the extraction of Iron ore from district Tharparkar and Jhimpir in district Thatta in Sindh Province and refining and Palletizing of this extracted Iron ore.
The Minister and the Special Assistant to CM Sindh appreciated the proposed investment plan and said that Sindh government was encouraging the investors in the province.
They also said that implementation of this proposed investment project would create a number of opportunities of employment and economic and social development and the people of Sindh would get benefited from economic activity.
They advised the representatives of the company to extend a comprehensive and detailed project proposal.
The representatives of the company said that they would produce a comprehensive plan in next month. (PR)
