US Charity releases short video on Floods in Sindh

The Life Bridge, a US-based charity, has released a short video about the recent flash floods that had ravaged Sindh during torrential monsoon rains.

“This is the first of a series of short videos that we shot while in Sindh. It documents the situation on the ground in detail from our eyes and the eyes of the flood-affectees,” Dr. Geet Chainani, who heads the charity, said.

“We will be releasing more over the coming weeks,” added Dr. Geet who had been carrying out relief activities in different areas of Sindh.

Dr. Geet Chainani, an American Sindhi doctor, born in India and raised in New York City, had visited flood zone in Sindh in August 2011 also and spent several months to help the people.

The video covers the relief activities undertaken in Jhudo area of Mirpurkhas district.
