Male and female students of public and private schools from across Tharparkar district have displayed their science models at the festival

Mithi: The 2-day Thar Science Festival, organized by Thar Education Alliance, was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Muhammad Nawaz Soho at district headquarter town Mithi on Friday.
The male and female students of various public and private sector schools of entire district put their stalls and displayed the science models prepared by them.
A large number of students, boys as well as girls, their parents and citizens visited the science festival held at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Cultural Complex with the support of district administration. Provincial Advisor Veerji Kolhi, Sushil Malani, Kashif Bajer, Kirshan Sharma, Meena Gabina, Saadia, Akbar Rahmoon, Chief Monitoring Officer Muhammad Ibrahim and others also visited the festival.
Different sessions were also held to discuss the situation related to education in Thar, girls’ education and promoting science education were also held. A comedian Asghar Khoso was present to entertain the children and the visitors.
Some national level organizations and institutions have also supported Thar Education Alliance in holding the Thar Science Festival, which is organized annually since last few years.
The science festival will conclude on Saturday.
