I had resolved to do something different to earn name for my community – Says Ali Ahmed who got 2nd position in CSS exam

Ali Ahmed Phulpoto S/o Ali Bux Phulpoto, a young man hailing from Khairpur, who graduated in Civil Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro, has become Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) after having achieved second position in Central Superior Service (CSS) Examination in Sindh.

“I had resolved to do something different to earn name for my community, and had started preparations for CSS examination,” Ali Ahmed said while talking to Sindh Courier.

“This was my third attempt to pass the CSS examination, and I accomplished my goal through self-studies,” he told.

He said his parents also encouraged him to do any special.

Ali Ahmed, who received secondary education from Cadet College Sanghar, said he is the first one in Phulpoto community to become an ASP. “I had opted Police Services Group. I will work with honesty and dedication to earn respect and name.”

“It was my wish to become a police officer to serve the nation,” he said.

Ali Ahmed said that education is the only tool to bring change in the society. “There is a lot of talent in Sindh and what the youth need is proper guidance and counseling.”
