Me with My Shadow – Poetry from Bengal
Suhina Biswasmajumdar, Kolkata-based poet shares her two fresh poems

The world needs my care, my lightning
My love and sympathy, not others fighting
I resolve your problem if you keep your promise
Don’t spread hatred, help living demise!
Me with My Shadow
Love and laughter what I’ve to offer…
To you who give me shelter, even to you who stab me better,
Only smile and mercy I bring just here
Come to serve your imbalance peer
The world needs my care, my lightning
My love and sympathy, not others fighting
I resolve your problem if you keep your promise
Don’t spread hatred, help living demise!
***
The call
I’ll be there
Till then, wait
Wait for me
I don’t know whether you are my friend or foe
But I’ll be with you
I’ll be there to rescue,
Fallen angel, I believe in some incarnation you’ll regain your dreams back
How long …how long would you suffer
How long their hatred would slash you
How long would you hide your tears and broken soul?
Love her.
Spread your rebellious love
Let the world awake from her age old sleep!
You, the prince of tomorrow’s child take charge
Today’s heaven needs your consent
Needs your concerning desire to win!
To win over your victim mentality!
Just go, look, realize and embrace
They’re waiting for you … there real hero.
I’ll there. I’ll be with you.
With all my patience and passion
Till then wait … wait for a better me
Though I don’t know you are my friend or foe till now!
