Why raining – Poetry from Vietnam

Why this morning it keeps pouring
It must be very sad, right?
That is why rain dropped in my soul…

Why raining
Why this morning it keeps pouring
It must be very sad, right?
That is why rain dropped in my soul
The afternoon rain even is heavier
Sorrow pouring when we separated
Old street corner the way we used to walk
The trees shake the melancholy wind
The old pedestrians are still here, but the old lover is absent
The old scene is still here and where is the old soul-mate?

Raindrop
Quietly I am watching the falling raindrops
I suppose that if without raindrops
How sad the plants are
If the sky is always bright
How people would be tired
If without love
How tolerance can be done
If love is not passionate
How boring the life is.
***
Is it?
Is it because it rains heavily
So my eyes wet with color of nostalgia
Is your love faded?
So my soul feels cold inside
Do you forget your oath?
So my heart aches thinking about the old happy days…
