Quran Corner established at Shah Latif University Khairpur

Currently, Holy Quran is available translated in to 60 languages of the world – Director Al – Furqan Institute

The Holy Quran Corner has been established at the Institute of Islamic Studies, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur.

Faqeer Amanullah Mako, Director Al-Furqan Research Institute & Museum (ARIM), Sukkur handed over the 50 copies of Holy Quran translated in the Sindhi, Urdu, Barahvi, Pashto and other local languages to Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, on Wednesday.

Faqeer Amanullah Mako said that the Al-Furqan Research Institute & Museum, Sukkur has rich sources of Holy Quran. “Currently, Holy Quran is available translated in to 60 languages of the world,” he said adding that his research organization has distributed more than 20000 copies of Holy Quran around the world to disseminate the message of Almighty Allah.

He offered facility to conduct the research at his Institute for the faculty and students of Shah Abdul Latif University.

Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said on this occasion that the establishment of Holy Quran Corner is a noble cause and initiative taken by the Institute of Islamic Studies.

He said the university will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Furqan Research Institute & Museum, Sukkur and students will also avail the research facilities over there.

Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences said that the Institute of Islamic Studies is working dynamically and added that teachers and students will embark on Quranic research in the Institute.

Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Advisor to Vice Chancellor on Academics also spoke.

Dr. Zain-ul-Abideen Arejo, Acting Director Institute of Islamic Studies briefed the participants regarding the objectives of the ceremony and shed light on the research and academic activities of the Institute.
