Sindhi community of Vadodara (Baroda) city of Gujarat state of India celebrated with great enthusiasm the Cheti Chand, birthday of Lord Jhulelal (New Year of Sindhi Society) on Thursday March 23, 2023.
As part of celebration, Prasad was distributed at so many places in the city. All Jhulelal Temples were decorated with flowers and lights.
A Hath Prasadi Program at Baroda Sindhi Samaj Sant Kanwar Nagar Warasia Vadodara was arranged by President of Sindhi Samaj Mr. Girdharilal Kishorani and his team.
Various cultural programs like singing and dancing etc. were also organized at Waghodia Road by Sindhi Panchayat and North Baroda Sindhi Association followed by lunch and dinner.
It may be mentioned that the Cheti Chand celebration had started from March 18 and continued for a week, during which various organizations of Sindhi community organized different programs on daily basis, including a blood donation camp.
