Things are happening at various times in various time zones. What is happening to us today, has already happened, and we have died too.
Dr. Jernail S. Anand
Are we actually doing something, or things have already been done, and we are watching it played again? We think we are playing an original song, because we can change the nuances, and if we needed, we can reshoot the song. We are unwinding a reel which has already been shot. What we are witnessing has already been put in a taped material and supplied to us. We have already lived our lives. They are only being replayed. We are only unreeling what has already been shot and canned.
We don’t know what will happen next, because, it has already happened, and we have not seen the film. We are not existing here for the first time. This life, we have already lived, and died. We are here again to unreel. When we worry, and when we fight, we often complain gods smile. Reason is clear. They know what has transpired and all our worries finally end in our death.
Original Actors
The comic situation of our existence is we think we are the original actors, who are taking orders from nowhere, and we are taking our own decisions. We have a brain, we have knowledge, and we have wisdom too. The scriptures and holy books are there to guide us. When we speak wisdom, gods know what we shall speak, because we have already spoken it.
It is a film which is going on. And, in it, there are song sequences and fight sequences. Time bound. And these scenes arrive at their cut off time. Some actors have left and some may arrive of whom, we know nothing. This uncertainty is the same which we feel when we are watching a film for the first time.
Time is the greatest mystery which has bugged man’s intelligence.
We are involved in this drama because we think it is being enacted before our eyes, with us as one of the actors, and we are taking decisions. Only we don’t know we are acting out a text which has already been worked on, shot and now canned, which we are actually replaying.
There are many theories of time. What is happening here today, will happen in America tomorrow. Cosmically, it is a tiny geographical difference. If we think of planets millions of light years away, we have already lived our lives, and died. And those things are happening now, because of the placement of time in different realms of the cosmos.

And what is happening to us today, will be happening again, after millions of years, at some other planet.
Things are happening at various times in various time zones. What is happening to us today, has already happened, and we have died too. And it may recur and may happen again in some other part of the galaxy. The catch is: we are unaware of it. The universe is so vast. How can we know everything with such a tiny mind?
Time Travel
There are basically three theories of time: 1) realist, 2) relational and 3) idealist. The realist view of time believes that time is a physical characteristic of the Universe, independent of other physical properties. Time would exist even if the Universe were empty of matter and people (a de Sitter-Einstein Universe). The block Universe of relativity is an example of this view.
The relational view of time states that time depends on the succession of physical events in the Universe, such that time would not exist in an empty Universe. Where the realist states that the Universe has a clock, a relationalist states the Universe is a clock.

The idealist view is that time is a property of the human mind and, therefore is an illusion. The passage of time depends on human observers. In some sense, the block Universe is both realist and idealist as time is embedded in the Universe and that reality is a timeless, unchanging thing (Parmenidean).
Time cannot be taken at its face value. Whatever we find in our universe is half created by us with our intelligence, and half of its remains undiscovered, which we are uncovering as we move forward.
Spacetime is one of the major discoveries of relativity which says that the Universe is a four dimensional construct, three of space and one of time. It was also a surprise to find that the dimensions of space and time are connected, that changes in one can effect changes in the other.

I will not go into these theories because it is not my task. For me, they are reference points only. They make me think I am existing at several planes. Time is the greatest mystery which has bugged man’s intelligence. The explanations that humans have come up with are partial truths only. Aristotle and Newton were human beings, we must admit, a little better than millions, no doubt.
The Take
Time cannot be taken at its face value. Whatever we find in our universe is half created by us with our intelligence, and half of its remains undiscovered, which we are uncovering as we move forward. Theories of time are man-bound, and not absolute. Time exists beyond everything and before everything. Time was the major speaker, the initial speaker who set things to order, when we saw Mahabharata serial. Only time knows what has happened and what is going to happen. Gods control time. We are the controlled. And whatever control we possess over phenomenal universe is miniscule. It can give us a sense of achievement, but we have conquered time, this statement is too inflated for mankind.
