Tune at a Glance – Poetry from Nepal

Art is a festival

It is a divinity at joy.

I play this tune

To sacrifice a disharmony.

BIRATNAGAR Tune at a Glance

A second glance

Is not a mistake

If the look is not wasted.

I keep along

The watchtower

By my side.

I read your eyes

By the stream

The water tasted divine.

Come close

Or I will have to go.

Wake me up

When you leave,

I shall send you an invitation

Again when the world

Speaks louder

Than the heart.

Art is a festival

It is a divinity at joy.

I play this tune

To sacrifice a disharmony.
