Indian singer Zubeen Garg, popular for singing ‘Ya Ali’, ‘Dil Tu Hi Bataa’, and ‘Yeh Kaisi Jagah’, has been hospitalized in Assam after head injury.

Zubeen was first taken to a local hospital in Dibrugarh and later shifted to Guwahati. According to reports, Zubeen is currently in the ICU. He suffered an epileptic fit followed by a seizure, and his head needed stitches.

He has lent his voice to songs in several popular films including ‘Dil Se’, ‘Vaastav’, ‘Fiza’, ‘Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai’, ‘Kaante’, ‘Musafir’ among others.

Zubeen Garg, a singer and songwriter, was admitted to the hospital in Assam on Wednesday after suffering a head injury as a result of a physical ailment. He was originally brought to a neighborhood hospital in Dibrugarh before being sent to Guwahati. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, reportedly gave the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh instructions to make sure Zubeen “receives all quality medical services.” According to the report, Sarma gave the go-ahead for the flight of Zubeen to Guwahati for additional medical care.

Keshab Mahanta, the state’s Health Minister, is currently in charge of managing Zubeen’s medical care. According to reports, Zubeen is currently in the ICU. He suffered an epileptic fit followed by a seizure, and his head needed stitches. Zubeen Garg is a well-known musician. He has lent his voice to songs in several popular films including Dil Se, Vaastav, Fiza, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Kaante, Musafir, Gangster, Bas Ek Pal, Namastey London, Krrish 3, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, and others.

The chart-topping singles by Zubeen include Ya Ali, Dil Tu Hi Bataa, and Yeh Kaisi Jagah. He has so far lent his voice for recordings in many different languages including Hindi, English, Manipuri, Kannada and Malayalam. Zubeen has also sung in Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Sanskrit, and Sindhi throughout the course of a career spanning more than three decades. He is also in the race for a Guinness World Record with 32,000 songs under his belt.
