Malir Dialysis Center is completely free, and there is no cash counter

Free Dialysis Center, established in Malir area of Karachi by the JDC Foundation Pakistan, was inaugurated on Friday April 28, 2023.
Inaugurating the Free Dialysis Center, Minister LG Sindh Nasir Shah praised the services of DDC and said that the establishment of another free dialysis center by JDC for kidney patients is indeed commendable.
He said that the free services of JDC in the health sector are exemplary.
On this occasion, DC Korangi Dr. Muhammad Ali Zaidi and DHO Korangi Afzal Odho also assured all possible support for JDC’s Free Diagnostic Lab, Free Blood Bank and Free Thalassemia Center.
General Secretary JDC Zafar Abbas said in the opening ceremony that the dialysis center established in Malir has the distinction of having separate machines for hepatitis B/C patients.
He added that if the federal and provincial governments extended cooperation, free dialysis centers can be established in the same way across the country.
Zafar Abbas said that like all the projects, Malir Dialysis Center is completely free, and there is no cash counter here. He said that if philanthropists and big companies strengthened his hands in the health sector, JDC will make the life of kidney patients easier by doing 360,000 free dialysis every year.
Zafar Abbas said that the free diagnostic lab of JDC will be inaugurated soon at the Exhibition Chowrangi, where people will be able to undergo medical tests completely free of cost. (PR)
