Karachi-Nagarparkar Heavy Bike Rally Begins Today

The bikers will leave Karachi for Nagarparkar via Bhanbhore, Thatta, Badin; Sindh Tourism Ministry has finalized all the arrangements including musical nights for the bikers

Karachi to Nagarparkar Heavy Bike Rally will start at 8.30am on Friday 2nd February (Today) from Mazar-e-Qaid under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Sindh, exploring heritage sites of Bhambore, Makli, Shahjehan Mosque and Tharparkar. Earlier, the Tourism ministry had announced that the bike rally will start on February 1.

According to the schedule, released by the Tourism Ministry, a Musical Night will be held at Rooplo Kolhi Resort at 7pm on 3rd February while on 4th February, off road bike rally competition will be held at Nagarparkar at 11:00 am and afterwards prize distribution ceremony will be held at Ranpur Dam, Nagarparkar.

The participants of the bike rally have been advised to gather at 8am on Friday Feb 1 at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.

The rally will travel from Karachi to Bhambore Fort and later proceed to Shah Jehan Mosque Thatha. The rally will then travel from Thatta to Badin via Sujawal. After a brief stop at Sujawal, the participants will proceed to Badin and having lunch there will continue journey to Gadhi Bhit in Mithi town, and enjoy sunset, camel ride and night view of Mithi. Dinner and night stay has been arranged at STDC Resort Mithi.

On Day 2 Feb 3rd, the participants will be allowed to visit Mithi Market etc. and after the lunch and Opening Ceremony Thar Cuisine, the onward journey will begin for Nagarparkar via Bhalva, Marui’s Well and enjoying bird watching at Flamingo Point, Runn of Kuchh lake. The participants will be taken to Virawah Temple if time permitted. The bike rally will reach Nagarparkar TharDeep Resort where Musical Night and Dinner at STDC Rooplo Kohli Resort has been arranged.

On Day 3 Feb 4th, participants will go for Sardhro Temple, sightseeing and photography. They will also visit Karoonjar View Point and also visit Qasbo Village if time permitted.  Later, they will move to Ranpur Dam. After having lunch, prize distribution will be held for off road bikers.

Same day after the ceremony, the fast movers will leave for Karachi while for Slow Movers, arrangements for night stay has been made at STDC Resort Mithi. They will move for Karachi on Feb 5.
