I discovered that one of his drawings, which he presented to the Kuwait Science Club, was used as an icon on a Kuwaiti postage stamp issued on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the club.

Ashraf Aboul Yazid – a portrait by artist Muhamed Yunus of India

From the pictures published here, he holds his copy of my book A River on Travel, which includes two trips for his country; ‘Under the sky of Gujarat’, and the ‘Throne of Sultan Akbar’. I met the artist on my travel to his city, the heart of Rajasthan. I made sure to visit him when I visited Rajasthan with my family in his city Udaipur, which witnessed the filming of one of the James Bond movies. We had lunch on the same street that featured the most famous chase scenes in the movie Octopus. He gave me a portrait he had drawn of me.
