Politics or politicians are nothing without poor’s vote. People need to bring positive change in mind-sets and cultures.

Pakistan cannot progress until the feudalism ends. Alas! The feudal system not only exists in Pakistan but day by day it’s getting strong.  In the province of Sindh, the waderas have full control on the police stations, administrative machinery, and even the economic life of the poor people.

Why the Feudalism prevails in the province? Because the poor people are still backward, uneducated, and cannot dare to speak-up against the feudal lords for the fear of terror and harassment at the hands of waderas. The fear of waderas prevails despite massive human rights violation. Another important thing is that poor people are still dependent on waderas because they have political power and are ruling in the area.

Even the schools in remote areas are fully controlled by waderas and the school buildings have turned into ‘Autaq’ of waderas. The main reason is that the waderas don’t want to listen to ‘No’ from poor people and from their children as well; that’s the reason they don’t want teachers in their area who give such kind of awareness to people.

The poor people are also afraid of the officers because waderas also get posted the officer of their own choice in their area, so as the officer must dance on their fingers.

This is the time to wake-up and stand for our own rights, for the rights of poor masses. It’s not time to speak someone else’s words. Politics or politicians are nothing without poor’s vote. People need to bring some positive change in mind-sets and cultures.
