Let there be wrongs in this life we live,
But don’t you grieve, my heart — forgive.
Guard yourself from evil, stay composed —
Each soul must answer for the life they chose.

Quiet down, heart…
If you’re not being squeezed, heart in my chest,
Why do you care for the outside world’s mess?
The one who does wrong is truly myself —
Why do you bear the cost and the stress?
My eyes witness all the evil and lies,
Unjust slanders, the masks, the fake disguise.
From my eyes, the tears fall without end —
And that is their answer to what they despise.
My whole body craves a peaceful breath,
It just endures — through pain, through death.
This body does everything, bears every mark,
Then why are you so restless, tell me, heart?
Let there be wrongs in this life we live,
But don’t you grieve, my heart — forgive.
Guard yourself from evil, stay composed —
Each soul must answer for the life they chose.
