Reformatting Mankind with Innocence and Wisdom

[Dr. Anand discusses how in his latest epic, Redemption, God reformats man’s mind, forgives him for his follies, and how man is finally redeemed, and his innocence resupplied. Redemption is the 3rd book of the Neo-Cosmic Trilogy, his 18th epic in succession. Prior to this, of his nearly 200 books, he has written three Trilogies: Mahakaal Trilogy, Cosmic Trilogy and now, Neo-Cosmic Trilogy, and published Epicasia, Vol. 1 and 2, which contains Anand’s 12 epics].

The story of mankind starts with the fall of man, by tasting the forbidden fruit, and as a punishment, being thrown out of heaven, and sent to earth which was in the form of a purgatory, where man could get rid of his sins, and return to Eden. The story of man’s fall can be given a postmodern reading too.
Satan wanted to destroy man’s bliss, and for this, he had to dilute his innocence, because it was this innocence which made him a worthy claimant for heavenly bliss. Tempting Eve and throwing them into sin, was Devil’s subtle game. And he succeeded. Man’s mind was de-formatted and he started actively receiving signals from the empire of darkness. If we remember Faustus, the Marlowian over-reacher, his lure of knowledge of all kinds proved to be his undoing. He was an apocalyptic figure representing the fall of man from divine grace. Every object of nature works within its limits. A human mind too has its limits. But when we try to extend over those limits, we are inviting tragedy. This is what happened to Faustus. This is what happened to Icarus. And this is what happened to Man. Knowledge was the domain of the Devil, and Satan used it to distance man from his state of innocence.
Apparently, science, in the form of technology, has tried to make life easier, comfortable, and happier for human beings. And it has succeeded to a great extent. The only problem with human society today is that they think that these physical and mental joys are all about human life which is a sore misconception.
Knowledge Departs from Wisdom
Science and technology have no apparent relationship with the quality or emotional quotient of man. This is where Knowledge departs from Wisdom. We are building a great house, great rooms, fitted with state of the art equipment, but where is the man for whom we made all these things? The men who live in sprawling buildings are shadows, ghosting after money, wealth, fame and artificial joys. Human civilization is stuck at this point. They have gone further in providing man greater powers through AI, but ultimately, it has destroyed his own identity as a human being. Science helping men in their actions is fine, but science should not have stepped on the toes of the divine, ignoring the fact that everything has its limits, and therefore, gods won’t allow anything beyond a certain point. Is it not ultimate foolishness that man is pushing forward on a collision course with the divine!
Limitations of Knowledge: Its Amoral Stance
The major issue with knowledge is that it has remained focused on the physical plane. And the most devastating thing about it is that it has not insisted on quality. Those who were pursuing with science and technology have achieved great success in the efficiency of their products, but how they impact the quality of human life, was not their concern. In fact, this amorality and sacred academism of the scientific research has resulted in accumulation of knowledge which resonates with bombs and destruction, rather than with life and beauty. Technology, like AI, is a great facilitator, but it has no conscience. It has no sense. It is insensate. And the worst that has happened to mankind is men who are now in its grip, are losing their humanities. They are being reduced to an existence from hand to mouth, in which staying alive is a great struggle in itself, and a prize too, leave aside any higher reckonings.
God, who wanted man to stay in blissful innocence, was never in favour of his tasting the fruit of knowledge. Today, when people die, they head for hell, because their greatest armour is knowledge which has no divinity around it. It is born of infernal intent, it has infernal content, and it is only infernally potent.
Universities are dispensers of knowledge, but this knowledge has finally brought about the ruin of mankind. What we are today? Intelligent, proud, overbearing, and self-righteous, and do nothing beyond fighting in some exalted names. A few philosophers tried to tell them the truth, but they were forced to seek salvation in suicide. What this world needed most was Socrates, whom they poisoned. Over the centuries, things have not got better. Wisdom is still a bitter capsule. This knowledge is nothing more than wisdom which has kept men away from divinity. There is only one way we can access God. Knowledge does not go beyond a certain point. We need something which lasts longer on the road backward. It is wisdom. In a way, we have to relinquish knowledge, and embrace the state of Innocence.
Innocence as Ultimate Wisdom
What is innocence? Men of knowledge think that innocence is a virtue of the rural folk, nothing industrious about it. The innocent people are looked down upon as unfit for the progression of a society. Of course, you have to learn worldly arts to do well in a society, which is witchy and crafty. Success is the bitch goddess which can be pleased only with strategems. There is only one word which stands opposite to innocence, and its guile. Guile thy name is man.
Innocence should not be confused with ignorance. It is a mental faculty born of innate wisdom. An innocent person knows his job and he performs it to perfection. He does not go for arts which teach him duplicity and deceit. If you want to see innocence incarnate, see the animals, the birds, the winds, the waters. Do they violate their own nature? Greed, lust, power, crime – these are elements found in the world of men, who believe in knowledge. Innocence is the ultimate virtue, because a man who has acquired wisdom shall finally become innocent. God does not admit smartness, nor knowledge, nor success, nor pride. He admits only people who believe in innocence, humility, and the innate wisdom which informs every created object of this universe.
