The scholarship cheques were distributed among the students of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development Khairpur under the Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Project (BUSP) on Tuesday April 18, 2023.
The ceremony held at Vice Chancellor Secretariat, was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar.
While highlighting the importance of technical education, Dr. Mahar said that this is the first Technical University of Sindh, which provides scholarships to the students, to produce skilled technologist, which is an important need of the present era.
“For industrial development, it is necessary to make the youth, highly skilled and educated,” he said.
Dean Faculty of Engineering Technology Prof. Dr. Hussain Bux Marri, Dean Faculty of Skill Development Mir Sajjad Hussain Talpur, Dr. Imdadullah Thaheem, and Eng. Abdul Shakoor Shaikh also addressed the event and distributed the scholarship cheques among the students.
The event was attended by a large number of students and faculty members.
