Special Security Unit Fulfills Wishes of 50 Ailing Children

The children of different ages are suffering from diseases like thalassemia, let ventricle dysfunction, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Ewing sarcoma

DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed invited the little stars of Make-A-Wish Foundation at Special Security Unit (SSU) Headquarters on two consecutive days on lunch and fulfilled the wishes of 50 children.

On the occasion, DIG Security said that little children suffering from chronic diseases need to be taken care which would help increase their courage and strength to live life joyfully. He appreciated efforts of Make-A-Wish foundation to make lives of the children full of happiness.

Since its inception Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan has granted thousands of wishes of critically ill children, thereby enriching their lives with hope, strength and joy.

Make a wish- SSU-6Expressing the views, founder of Make-A-Wish Foundation Ishtaiq Baig said that DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed always supports the cause of the foundation and had fulfilled the wishes of a large number of the children which makes him an active fund provider. Keeping in view of his dedicated services, the foundation has decided to incorporate his name in board of directors.

He further told that the children affiliated with Make-A-Wish foundation are treated at SSU Headquarters as a chief guest which is worth appreciating. (PR)
