We should heal ourselves by loving our parents, friends, family, and others instead of losing our temper and destroying ourselves.

Before we get going in the discussion on this topic, I would like to add some points said by famous writers.

Elif Shafak in her book ‘Forty Rules of love’ says:

“It is easy to love a perfect God, unblemished and infallible that He is. What is far more difficult is to love fellow human beings with all their imperfection and defects. Remember one can only know what one is capable of loving. There is no wisdom without love unless we learn to love his creation. We can neither truly love nor know God.”

Another point that I would like to add is said by Louis I. Newman, in his poem ‘The voice of God’. He said:

I sought to hear the voice of God,

And climbed at the topmost steeple,

But God declared, go down again,

I dwell among the people.

Now let us keep these two lines aside and come to the point.

We know that a person can love his/her mother, father, sister, brother, cousins and even we can love ourselves and so on but the point is that have we ever endeavored to probe what love is? What does it mean?

I think that when you are ready to accept someone as what that person is, no matter how many flaws and scars or bad habits he/she has, and to be glad about that person or thing no matter he/she is tall, short, ugly, beautiful, black, white, fat, thin, and whatever. If you are ready to accept with all of your heart, that is true love.

Now what? If we fall in love with God

We know that God is just infallible. He does not contain any scars or flaws, God is just perfect in every way.

So I believe that falling in love with your creator, your maker, is just a great thing but I also trust that you cannot love God until you love his creation. You cannot be good with God until you are not righteous with his creatures.

Now let us grab a point (that we have discussed before) as an example, said by Louis I. Newman in his poem, the voice of God. He said.

Once I wanted to hear the voice of God. For that purpose, I ascend to the highest peak of a religious building but, when I reached it, God said to me to go down again. I use to be among the people.

I think that God is saying that love his creation, spread love, honesty, purity. No matter what it takes? No matter how it is going. It is alright to be not well. It is okay that you are not treated well. If you are ready to remove all kinds of hatred and abhors from the heart (made by people), your soul will be healed. God’s creation helps us to know himself. If you make someone smile, he also smiles at you. If you heal someone with your love and honesty, God will also heal you with his love and compassion.

Now if we look that why God told the poet to go down? Because he lives among us. So if we admire to love God, we should admire to love his creation first.

Here we look at the point said by Elif Shafak in her book forty rules of love.

“It is easy to love a perfect God, unblemished and infallible that He is. What is far more difficult is to love fellow human beings with all their imperfection and defects. Remember, one can only know what one is capable of loving. There is no wisdom without love unless we learn to love God’s creation. We can neither truly love. Nor truly know God.”

Here in this rule, she is also discussing the view which I am trying to explain. She is saying that there is not any wisdom if you don’t love. It is easy to love a perfect God who always loves us and cares about us. But the test of your heart starts when you love someone with so many imperfections.

MORAL

Remove all kind of hatred from your heart whom you abhor.

Spread love because it is a way to reach God.

We should heal ourselves by loving our parents, friends, family, and others instead of losing our temper and destroying ourselves.
