To preserve this historical heritage and honor our rich traditions, the “Silk and Spices Festival”, held annually since 2001, has become a major cultural event that attracts attention not only within Uzbekistan but also around the world.

Initially launched with the support of UNESCO and various international organizations, the festival aimed to showcase the historical legacy, national craftsmanship, and cultural richness of the Uzbek people. Over the past two decades, the event has grown in scale and importance, strengthening cultural ties with other countries, boosting tourism, and expanding international cooperation.
